Guest guest
Here ya go, Sylvia: Here’s a knee ‘exercise’ that sometimes does wonders. While sitting with your legs hanging down, extend the lower leg up as far as it will go, like straight out in front of you. Now here’s the ‘exercise’: take a full 20 seconds to do this. Lower the leg normally IE not timing it like when raising it up. Repeat this movement two more times on the same knee to total 3 reps. Then do the other knee due to the ‘stroke effect’. You can do this twice a day. This was developed by a Chiropractor that had hurt his knee. He was on the seminar circuit so he had been adjusted by just about every Chiropractor in the country with not much help. Putting all these experiences together, he developed this. Now, here’s the best part. When he showed this, I had a knee injury myself. I had run into a fence on my bike and hit my knee. Pain for awhile but after that I could no longer flex it when stooping down to the floor. This was a year old injury and I just figured ‘oh well, I’ll have to live with this, no pain, just look really funny when having to stoop down to the floor’. Here’s the bestest part J I did this ‘exercise’ for a couple of weeks and voila, I could again flex my knee!!!!!!!!! I still do it on occasion ‘cause old knee injuries have a way of rearing their ugly heads in later decades and I’m entering those later decades <groan> so will be really interested to see what happens with this knee. I’m sure the lemon egg, PP, weight management and all the other stuff I do will also help delay the effects. Golly, I hope it works for you. It might not work during the acute stage but keep it in mind and do it at some point just to strengthen your knees for the next time you want to play J
