A friend has a 6 month old boy that has the ends of his fingernails

blackened for a few months. The MD's find nothing in their metabolic

testing. He has no other sx. I'm not sure about his diet. The info is

2nd hand. When the nails are cut they grow back with the blackened

tips. What do you make of it?

Waymon,

sounds like a deficiency or circulation problem... never heard of this one. Would love to know mom's history and diet including his.
