Allergic to exercise!?!?! She was dead serious. Anyone ever heard of such a thing? Candace Everything will turn out well in the end. If things are not well now, then it is not yet the end. Guest guest
I'm going to be starting a cleanse very soon. Yippee!!! When I suggest doing an herbal cleanse to friends they just look at me like I'm insane. I mean, who ever heard of such a thing! LOL I know soooooooooooooooooo many people who could benefit from it but won't listen. I'd say 80% of my friends are on some kind of antidepressent. Guest guest
Welcome!!!!!!! That's true! She could FIX the problem instead of letting it get worse. Maybe there's a pill she can take for energy ~smirk~ When I exercise I get chest pains. I'm not sure if it's my stinkin left lung or if it's my heart. And it's VERY hard to breathe. When I exercise and get "out of breath" it's just that OUT OF breath. When I'm done I need to lay down I get dizzy. I'm also having pains in my gut area, my years of constipation is really catching up with me. I'm very thankful I discovered herbs (and found this group) because I was days away from going to see a doctor. Can you even imagine what they would have done to me!?! Defective as they may be, I'd like to keep my colon and clogged scarred lungs. ~rubs hands together~ Now to see about cleaning them out. Do you guys think I'll be alright forcing myself to exercise like the cleanse recommends from the get go? I believe it said an hour a day sweatin all the way. Or should I start out slower and work my way up (I plan to add Lobelia to my cleanse for my gimpy lungs). Guest guest
hello, well, first of all, you don't just gain 45 pounds almost overnight! only if you are an anaconda (snake) (O; ha ha. excersise needs to be trained, you actually have to get used to it again,(physically and mentally) or for the first time in life. some people love to work out, some totally hate it........ there are many reasons why a person doesn't want to start excersise, but they are usually embarresed or don't have a clue what to do and ask for information. i know an online place that helps folks start out excersising and help them feel good about it and themselves, this time i remeber *NOT* to post it here, because it is a group. if you would like to know, i can sent it to you off the list. just some thoughts, rik herbal remedies , " Candace Podratz " <CandaceAndBrock@w...> wrote: > I was chatting with some one this morning whose friend is on anti depressants (imagine that, she knows some one on drugs) and she said she felt bad for her because when she first started them she gained 45 pounds almost overnight and couldn't do anything about it because she's allergic to exercise. > Allergic to exercise!?!?! Guest guest
Hi Candace, Others have probably responded to you on this already, but since I'm just catching up on email I haven't seen them and I wanted to respond to you. I am still working through my breathing problems and I've done two cleanses. It's interesting that I was in bad enough shape before (didn't think I was) that I never knew I had difficulty breathing! Anyway, without getting into all the details, I would recommend that you start the Lobelia NOW. Seriously. I have made dramatic improvements since I started taking it. On the exercise, the recommendation is 30 minutes, and I would definitely start out with what you can do as long as you sweat good through it. When I did my first cleanse, I couldn't go running. It was too painful. So, I used my mini trampoline (that was sitting around collecting dust) and did that. After the cleanse I had lost enough weight and was so much healthier that I started running on a regular basis. OK, those are my thoughts... :)Kelli Candace Podratz [CandaceAndBrock] Monday, May 17, 2004 7:27 AMherbal remedies Subject: Re: Herbal Remedies - Hmmmmm Do you guys think I'll be alright forcing myself to exercise like the cleanse recommends from the get go? Guest guest
AWESOME! I'm so excited. I had knee surgery and read that those who have had it shouldn't take up jogging. But I have always wanted to jog. Maybe I'll do it anyways. LOL Football players get knee surgery all the time and that doesn't stop them! I have a jogging stroller, I'm sure Brock would love the ride! How long at a time can you take Lobelia? Could I take it through the whole total body cleanse? Start now AND do it through the cleanse? Just do it til my 2oz bottle runs out? How any times a day? Guest guest
Yeah! You go girl! Brock will love it!! (I'm assuming that he's riding and you're pushing, right? LOL!! On the Lobelia, I started when I did the cleanse in April, and I'm still taking it. I take 2 droppers 3 times per day. I don't have any plans to stop taking it I am much more satisfied with my breathing situation. (I want to be able to run 5 miles. Not run, stumble, walk, gasp - but run! I'm up to 2 miles, and that's from NOTHING less than a year ago!) :)Kelli Candace Podratz [CandaceAndBrock] Monday, May 17, 2004 2:08 PMherbal remedies Subject: Re: Herbal Remedies - Hmmmmm Football players get knee surgery all the time and that doesn't stop them! Guest guest
OW! I ripped mine pretty good and a ligament is stretched to the point it's hangin on by a thread. The doc basically said that couldn't be fixed and hope it doesn't tear the rest of the way! So he lazor " cleaned " my meniscus that tore so the jagged edges wouldnt' catch anymore. Icky. I cringe at any talk of knee pain. Icky icky icky. P.S. I have some smokies to clean out, too!
