Guest guest
This came from a friend of mine today who works at Hinds Instruments (the company that mfg.'s night vision stuff for the military) Pam Critical vulnerabilities found in Symantec security products Hello Everyone, Symantec just recently release a couple of patches that fix critical vulnerabilities in their security products (such as Norton Internet Security and Symantec Firewall). If you are using any of these products at home, please open the application (double-click on the icon in the system tray -lower right side of the taskbar-) and run " LiveUpdate " . Some analysts are predicting that a new virus/worm will be out within the next 24 hours to take advantage of these vulnerabilities. As a general rule of thumb, everyone should be manually updating their antivirus and security products on a regular basis (daily, or every time you connect to the Internet...would be best), checking for new patches and updates. Though most of the time these products are set to automatically update, many of the program patches are not automatically downloaded and installed during this process and do require a user to manually initiate the update in order to receive them.
