BIG HUGS to Candace and Phyllis.

As you will notice that was my first suggestion, re-use glass jars.

Also, i have a really cool idea that i picked up at a women's study.

Instead of buying expensive centerpieces, they took everyday

household jars, wrapped a piece of tissue paper over the botton and

up the sides, and tied with a ribbon at the rim. I thought that was

sooo cool.

So on Saturday when i was out trimming roses, and decided i was going

to take some to all my neighbors...i put them in the little glass

jars i had to distrbute. It's quick, easy, economical, and my

favorite...ENVIRONMENTALLY CONCIOUS!

Candace, I was doing the same thing until some of the list members

here mentioned that they were sterilizing jars that foods had been

in , like your pickle jar. I now have quite a few neat looking

glass jars that I am useing for organic grains, nuts, herbs, etc.

It is good that you brought this up again, great idea for new

members.
