Chug it down.:-) In the summer we put ice in too. hugs, Karen Thanks Karen... I will try this and adjust to suit our needs here...I can perfect it before the little guy gets here! I will use the total nutrition in place of the spirulina...it's in there though! It's okay to share the book name as long as you did not write it! I would like to know! The Incredible Hulk Smoothie is a great name and should clinch the deal on Layne trying it!!! Thanks a Bundle God Bless, Jamie in Az
Guest guest
Hi Jamie:-)) It's a variation from one of my cookbooks, they don't call it that though,lol.. (I'll tell you privately the name of the book if it's bad to post that here) The one from the cookbook uses water from a young coconut, but I can't get those so I've experimented with just water, carrot juice, or any fresh juice really and they taste pretty good.:-) I'm sure nutritionally though it would be far better to have the coconut water. Here goes: 2 big handfuls raw organic pumpkin seeds enough water, or coconut water, or juice to your liking (depends on how thin or thick you want it) 2 large frozen bananas 2 big TB of spirulina wiz it up in the blender until super smoothe! Guest guest
Just my 2 cents, but you do mean sprouted (soaked) pupkin seeds right????? ) You can post the name of the book as long as you are not promoting a book you wrote, and that you are trying to sell. I list resources all the time. Sylvia herbal remedies , " Bob and Karen Oros " <orosfam@n...> wrote: > Hi Jamie:-)) > It's a variation from one of my cookbooks, they don't call it that > though,lol.. Guest guest
Well, although the banans give it a creamier texture.. I have a ton of strawberries coming in , like 2 quarts a day..and I've been freezing them and using them the next day for smoothies and juices. I would imagine that'd taste pretty good. As long as it's frozen and fruity.;-) I have some frozen bush cherries I could try out.. Not sure the peach trees will produce this year because of our late snow.:-( But I bet that'd taste yummy.
