Isn’t it recommended that you keep dried herbs in like a brown bottle or something so that light cannot reach them? I thought I heard that somewhere. Maybe I am wrong?

My are kept in the dark Liz so the color of the jar is not a problem... I would not let them sit out in the light in the mason jars for very long....so your right under normal conditions. I have tons of herbs and all in bulk, I buy this way to save money then I can share with others and trade with others for whatever!
