Fading does happen over time and I am sure the sun plays a part in fading... It also depends on the colors of the ink and how the tattoo was applied as to how it it can be removed. Home-made tattoo's are easier to remove than those done with a professional tattoo gun. Colored inks are harder to remove even though they fade naturally more easy. So much to consider and think about! I really appreciate any and all input in making this a reality! God Bless, Jamie in Az PS - I don't have any tattoo's but can see the need for a removal product besides the expensive laser treatment. Guest guest
I went to the shop a couple times for various piercings after that and noticed the lady who did my tattoo and owned the shop wouldn't do piercings, which I thought was odd. Here I find out she has hepatitis and isn't allowed to work with the needles. Um...what is a tattoo gun if it isn't a big needle? Candace Dang Candace I would not want to find that out after getting a tattoo from someone!!! Did she wear a face mask or anything? Your rose sounds nice although I totally understand your wanting to get it off... Colors are always harder to remove than blue/black ink... Guest guest
Here are 2 facts that i have heard or learned about from tatoo wearers that may help spawn and idea or theory: 1. Overexposure to sun can fade them or from burn and subsequent peeling cause some ink loss. I have not tested that theory as i avoid direct exposure to sun as much as possible. 2. I had a girlfriend (black)who told me that some blacks have difficulty in maintaining their tatoos, since over time (a few years), they fade. She showed me hers and some parts of it had in fact faded. She said she knew other black friends that this had happened to and that it was not an uncommon phenomenon? Perhaps these could lead to some ideas on how to fade or remove? Guest guest
When I got my tat they told me to always put sunscreen on it or I'd have to get it "touched up" in a few years because the sun would fade it. Once she got done with that, she said "you know it would look real nice with a little purple tint to it" so I said yes and she went over it again. When she was done she said she wanted to add a little white on the borders and edges and I said yes so she went over it a third time. If mine can be removed, anyones can!
