I know some dentists use clove oil to numb sensitive gums or "dry Socket". Perhaps you could mix a few drops of clove oil with Witch Hazel? I'm going to go look up some more stuff. What are you using it for, perhaps that would inspire other ideas?Sylvia*******************************

Jamie...Do you mean an anodyne( herbs to relieve pain when applied externally) ?

If so there are quite a few....Aconite(external only) , American Hellebore , Camomile , Catnip , Fireweed, Jamaica Ginger , Juniper Berry and oil , Marigold , Mullien , Peppermint , Virginia Snake Root...there are more .Then there are the herbs that are taken internally for pain , Analgesics .This is from Dr Christopher . Does this work for you.?...Mary O

I really appreciate both of your help with this!

I have a friend who is having laser tattoo removal on 10 tattoo's, next week, last time he had 9 removed and the spray they used to numb the area last time really did nothing... He has told me how painful it is and I took him and saw this big bully looking guy kicking and whining like a little girl, LOL! I am looking for something to apply before his treatment to make him more comfortable.

I am trying to formulate a herbal/natural tattoo removal formula right now but he has so many he is still going to have laser removal on some of them...he still is leaving me a crop of tattoo's to work on, LOL!

He made some mistakes when he was quite young, starting at age 14, and has a body full of tattoo's, he now wants them all gone!

I support him in this process and take him to his appointments in Mexico (it is way much cheaper in Mexico and looks like a Beverly Hills Office once your inside) So I will be gone from Tuesday evening until Sunday evening next week! May 19 - May 23rd. I sure will miss you guys!!!

Any help is appreciated!

God Bless,

Jamie in Az

Cloves aren't "garlic cloves" that is something different all together.

Look at this web site for a picture and description of cloves.
