Kelli,

Can you eat sporuted grains?

What about rice or corn pasta? There are some decent alternatives

out there. They are by no means exactly like wheat pasta, but hey i

used nothing but rice, corn and quinoa pasta for over a year.

I will really try to test it this weekend.

Hi Sylvia,

I do not believe that I am "gluten intolerant" which is why I put it in quotes. The nutritionist I went to for this had no data on enzyme inhibitors (nor were they interested when I tried to give them data on it - completely conflicted with their entire practice). My belief is that it was the enzyme inhibitors that was killing me as I practically lived on bread and pasta before. I am completely fine with sprouted breads (Ezekiel) and since doing two cleanses now, my bowels have woken up and are willing to function! LOL!

I am extremely excited to use my sprouted spelt flour and make real, honest-to-goodness SPAGHETTI!!! :)

Gotta get the pasta maker, though! LOL!

:)Kelli

OK, i just made a hge note for the fridge and hopefully hubby will

help me make sure to do it.

I think this is the same issue i was having pre-cleanse. I had mega

problems whenever i ate bread or pastas. Since we have cleansed and

switched to predominately sprouted, I dont have any problems unless

I/we cheat and i eat out/contraband!

Are you asking for the pasta recipe Jasmina? If so, you can find it at the Essential Eating

web site (link in resource files, I believe).

I absolutely LOVE the terminology you use! So appropriate! And the sentiment, so true! LOL!

Well in our house, anything that is not organic, sprouted, herbal is

now known as contraband LOL

Before i finally succumbed to/adopted this lifestyle, hubby was very

persistant about converting me and among my old friends used to be

know as the " food Nazi " LOL (no offense to anyone, the name is

from " Sienfeld " and hubby is 1/4 jewish heritage!)
