Hi again..

I actually have a boat load of questions I've been accumulating, lol, but I'll start with just a couple today.

My sister and her family are on this diet . My sister had a great raw pregnancy recently with #4 being born at home ..lots of barley max and carrot juice etc..

I'm more leery and my husband is downright skeptical.. if this has been addressed, maybe I could get directed to where in the archives it's talked about..if not I'd love to get some thoughts from y'all.. I've got the book, the barley stuff and all that..just don't have the gumption.:-)

Also, I've got this big ole bag of herbs that is suppose to be steeped in vinegar and used topically for bugs and stuff , called four thieves vinegar..anyone heard of it and if it works?

Thanks a bunch.

Karen,

The History of Four thieves vinegar: The story of the Four Thieves Vinegar tells of the virulent plague that swept through Toulouse. Four thieves roamed freely among the sick pilfering what they wanted without fear of becoming infected. When finally captured they were sentenced to death. They were offered their lives for the secret formula that spared them the evils of the plague. A solution of thyme, lavender, rosemary, and - most importantly sage, that had been infused in vinegar had been rubbed over their bodies before entering the homes of the ill.

I am not familiar with the Hallelujah diet... but a cleanse and organic raw eating would be much better.

Hi Suzi,

Thanks for the history..those guys would have made great politicians I think, lol. I grow all but the lavender (too humid in TN..) so I was thinking of making it myself next time if it's effective. I wonder if it would keep away ring worm?

I'm thinking you're right about the diet..I'm waiting for my crops to get going..we grow organically but only a 1/3 acre is for our personal use, for the root cellar , dehydrating and fresh eating. Right now we've just got asparagus, green onions ,mesclun , finishing up last years sweet taters and we ate our first strawberries for b-fast today.:-) (hurray:-)..

Thank you,

KarenO
