Ammonia. :)) Dribble some over whatever it is you don't want a cat or dog into be it trash or hoses or whatever and they will stay away from it. My neighbors cat used to LOVE our garbage and nothing worked until I used the ammonia.

They drag everything away from our garbage hole

Where do you get straight ammonia?

I was thinking of sprinkling cayenne powder on it, but damnit, that's MY cayenne!

If I’m not mistaken I think you can

get straight ammonia in any grocery store, in the cleaning aisle.

I heard/experienced (when i use to use amonia) that a cat will

continue to urinate on areas where amonia was used to clean up

previous accidents. The amonia smells somewhat like there urine and

they will seek out those areas to mess. I know you guys are talking

about garbage but I thought I would throw this in the trash, I mean

the mix.

I would just be using it to keep my dogs from chewing things to shreds. My

cats don't give me problems other than sneaking no the cupboard when I'm not

looking.

Interesting. my black cat with the amazingly yellow eyes wants

everything i eat but when i give it to her she sniffs at it and

usually looks up at me like .. " is that all there is? " Sometimes she

will take a couple of licks or bites. she is 18 years old and i can't

remember how old that would be in cat time.. anyone remember?

died on me.

That's a great story though Caroline, thanks for sharing it! Sorry to hear that they're no longer around. The memories still make smiles, though, which is wonderful! :)

I could give Damien shrimp and he would go to town on it...Tia would snub her nose at me like I was nuts to think she would eat that kind of stuff...but man...pop open a can of Pringles...woo hoo...she was right by my side...sticking her face in the can! lol

Kelli,

It went very well actually. I discovered just how out of shape I am, of course! lol But it was great. We even stayed after class and one of the black belts worked with us refreshing us on our forms. It was loads of fun and I can't wait until Wednesday night's class! I will miss Friday class though, because we have so much going on...a class field trip to a water park and then a baseball game...so I think we will be good and tired already! lol

Thanks for asking. I am so relieved to be back in martial arts again. Just knowing I have a school where they treat their students like family...is a wonderful thing!
