Guest guest
I started when I was about 14-15 yrs old, just for fun, using tennis balls. They bounce, and don't make a lot of noise when they hit the floor. A very important aspect to consider!! I would juggle till I couldn't move my arms! I was a lonely child ;-) When I was stationed in Virginia in the Coast Guard, back in '80-'82, a lot of the people in the dorm I was assigned to also were into juggling, so we had a lot of fun, back-to-back juggling, cross juggling, stuff like that. A decade or so ago, I worked for a pet supplier (a feed store), and one of the items offered was a dog play ball. About the size of a softball, solid rubber, very heavy. I bought three, and started using them. Very heavy workout!! I learned some real fun juggling tricks using rubber balls!!! Anyway, now I use three baseballs, cause that's what I've got, and juggle while Marilyn does her light wieghts. Man, I rambled, didn't I??? JohnDrCrandall <drcrandall wrote: Very interesting. I’m always suggesting to my patients to find some physical activity that they enjoy for exercise. That way they’ll stay with it. This juggling sounds like a winner. How, where, what did you use to learn it??? This is something I’d be interested in myself J I find my upper body work outs (Pilates machine and free weights) such a bore!
