These are not editable bones. > >Samantha > Actually canines evolved to eat RAW bones. Chicken, turkey, etc. The problem occurs when dogs eat Cooked bones. Cooked bones can cause perforations and impactions. Most of the scare of bones comes from vets who are pushing grain based commercial dog food. It is only in the last 60 years that commercial kibbled dog food has been available. Canines in the wild have survived for millions of years eating RAW bones. There are lots of people now feeding the RAW diet. Thousands have turned away from commercial dog food because of the increase in degenerative diseases that have occured. Maybe you will have time to check out some of the RAW feeding groups on . I have been feeding this way since 1999 none of my dogs have any problems - just the opposite..they are very healthy and happy. I have 3lb toy dogs and 30lb terriers...they all thrive on Raw Meaty Bones. Anne VA USA
