Guest guest
I have a co worker who is pregnant with about 3-4 weeks to go. Her doctor told her she has high blood pressure and she might not be able to work anymore until after the pregnacy. She is stressed about this and I want to offer her some herbal quick fixes for this but with the pregnancy thing I want to ask you guys first. I was thinking garlic?? Guest guest
High blood pressure is usually a sign that the mom isn't getting enough Protein in her diet. She should salt to taste as Mary O. said, and eat more Protein. The Brewer Diet is really good (and not really a " diet " per se, but an eating plan). http://www.blueribbonbaby.org/ As for specific herbs... the only ones I know about that are good for high blood pressure aren't recommended during pregnancy. Guest guest
I just went & did a little reading, so I want to correct my last post. There Are a couple of herbs that are safe for pregnancy and good for lower blood pressure~ Scullcap, & Squawvine :-) (Also, Cayenne is not considered safe during pregnancy.) Jan G. Guest guest
Look into celery juice or just the whole thing if she isn't interested in juicing. It can lower blood pressure. It has a high concentration of natural sodium. Waymon Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at HotJobs
