Why not freeze them without the water?

Herbal Remedies - freezing salmon

Would freezing fresh cought salmon in water be a good thing. Place the filets in a container filled w/ water and frozen ?PamFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Prevent freezer burn.

Doesn't matter if the filets are done up in a seal a meal, they

don't last long until freezer burn sets in. I remember my mom

freezing in water and just curious if that was a better way.

If they are totally submersed in water - yes.
