The New Mexico Physicians of Naturopathic Medicine Newsletter

Vol. I Issue 3

Dr. Katherine Whited, President, NMPNM

Greetings! By now each member should have received a flyer in the mail regarding NMPNM’s Second Annual Convention/Seminar. If not, please let our Secretary, Sunny Johnson, know and she’ll update our mailing list; 865-6622.

Larry and Sunny have done another great job putting the convention together. Be sure to let them know that you appreciate the work they’ve done to bring us this year’s event.

Please reserve your place as soon as possible by sending the registration and check to NMPNM, PO Box 594, Los Lunas, NM 87031. Remember that the convention cost includes your annual membership. Pass along this e-mail to invite other healthcare professionals you know. As mentioned before, our convention is held in conjunction with the New Mexico Physicians of Chiropractic Medicine. The state board for massage therapists has approved our convention CEUs for their licensure requirements. Unfortunately, the Doctors of Oriental Medicine won’t be joining us this year, but are interested in joining us in the future. Several of their board members will be in attendance. This will be a great time to network as well as expand your knowledge and practice. Be sure to bring plenty of your business cards and brochures to share.

If you have products or services you’d like to advertise at the convention, it’s not too late to get a booth. Call Sunny at the number above for details.

To help us with our legislative work regarding licensure, the Art Center Design College has agreed to build a website for us free of charge. We still need a web developer to create the dynamic portions of the site. This will be the automatic e-mails and/or faxes sent to New Mexico legislators. If you know of someone, or you can do this, please call me. We also need people to help with the maintenance and hosting of the site. If you know someone who will host the site for free or you are familiar with Dreamweaver software please let me know ASAP; 994-0912.

See you next month at the convention/seminar.
