They would look like dried up spaghetti. If you didn't see them they are still inside him and they are causing the animal a lot of pain along with absorbing nutrition from him. Almost all puppies and kittens are born with worms and you must make sure they are gotten rid of in a safe fashion. Instead of using worm medicine for my dogs I've been giving them garlic. I made the stupid assumption that since I got my puppies in October that they hadn't come in contact with any worms and wouldn't have them (duh). In December, Toby was hacking and hacking (I'm talking a hack attack every couple MINUTES) and looked a little bloated so I gave him garlic and tada! No problems since. I just gave it to him once a day for two days. I juiced them in my juicer and then put it in a syringe and crammed it down his throat. The first time I gave it to him, he stopped coughing IMMEDIATELY; it was like the second it hit his stomach he was cured.....appx 8 hours later he had a small cough starting up again and the next mornings garlic seemed to be what finished it. Guest guest
We have a very large yard, I don't know if they came out or not. He acts like a normal hyperactive pup! Candace Everything will turn out well in the end. If things are not well now, then it is not yet the end. - Rasberry4000 herbal remedies Tuesday, April 27, 2004 9:40 AM Re: Herbal Remedies - Garlic as a parasitic cleanser When he relieved himself, did you see the worms come out? Guest guest
I knew garlic was safe, my mom has used it on her animals; dogs, cats, cows. You're right, I should probably give him some garlic a week apart, guess I hadnt' thought about the eggs. Wouldn't garlic kill the eggs? Candace Everything will turn out well in the end. You can't kill tthe worms until they have hatched so when a dog is dewormed, it is in 2 treatments about a week apart. Please take proper care of your animals. If you found a herb that is safe and has been proven to work, you need to make sure it is used in the right way to rid your dog of the problem. It is dangerous to play guessing games at the expense of his health. Im sure there are holestic doctors to ask questions to.
