I caught some of this talk on "heredity" and here is a different view to consider. In , "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration", W. Price found that indigenous cultures that ate natural foods from their environments remained healthy throughout the years and once they embarked on "the great white way" (processed flour, etc.) their health began to degenerate individually and in succeeding generations. This same concept was observed in animals that were experimentally given diets lacking in various nutrients in certain groups. However it was found that once the proper diet was resumed the offspring were normal in even cases where the deformed mother was bread with a her own deformed offspring. This is a "nutshell" of the work. It's a very interesting book. If you want to understand the importance of good nutrition especially in "heredity" it's a classic.

Dear Waymon,

Good post, and not just because it concurs with my own post on the subject. ;o) Just one of those things that makes sense, if you know what I mean.

I'd love to read this book. Do you know if it is still in print???

Love,
