Guest guest
Someone just told me that I can get rid of worms and other parasitesin my system by eating one to two whole crushed cloves of garlic each day for two weeks. Has anyone ever heard of this or tried it? Do you eat it by itself or mix if with something? Do you have to eat it on a full stomach? Can it cause diarrhea? I imagine I will be pretty lonely for those two weeks, cause I'm sure no one will be able to stand my breath!!!!!!!!!!! Pix
Guest guest
I'd be willing to bet that would do it! Instead of using worm medicine for my dogs I've been giving them garlic. I made the stupid assumption that since I got my puppies in October that they hadn't come in contact with any worms and wouldn't have them (duh). In December, Toby was hacking and hacking (I'm talking a hack attack every couple MINUTES) and looked a little bloated so I gave him garlic and tada! No problems since. I just gave it to him once a day for two days. I juiced them in my juicer and then put it in a syringe and crammed it down his throat. The first time I gave it to him, he stopped coughing IMMEDIATELY; it was like the second it hit his stomach he was cured.....appx 8 hours later he had a small cough starting up again and the next mornings garlic seemed to be what finished it. Not the nicest approach, next time I'll just put it in some hamburger, at the time I didn't think of that. I don't think any self respecting worm or germ would stick around in some one taking garlic. I had a sudden nasty cold set in Friday so I made some potassium broth with lots of garlic in it and was shocked at how much better I felt immediately after drinking it. I did, however smell like garlic for 2 days. Everything coming out of my body (when I'm sick, that's a lot) smelled like garlic juice. But that's the price you pay to be healthy! I think some one on here suggested once chewing on parsley after taking garlic to help your breath. Candace Everything will turn out well in the end. If things are not well now, then it is not yet the end. - pixiepie2003 herbal remedies Monday, April 26, 2004 10:27 PM Herbal Remedies - Garlic as a parasitic cleanser Someone just told me that I can get rid of worms and other parasitesin my system by eating one to two whole crushed cloves of garlic each day for two weeks. Guest guest
When he relieved himself, did you see the worms come out? They would look like dried up spaghetti. If you didn't see them they are still inside him and they are causing the animal a lot of pain along with absorbing nutrition from him. Almost all puppies and kittens are born with worms and you must make sure they are gotten rid of in a safe fashion. Guest guest
Note: Worms leave eggs and these eggs will hatch so your dog does still have worms. You can't kill tthe worms until they have hatched so when a dog is dewormed, it is in 2 treatments about a week apart. Please take proper care of your animals. If you found a herb that is safe and has been proven to work, you need to make sure it is used in the right way to rid your dog of the problem. It is dangerous to play guessing games at the expense of his health. Im sure there are holestic doctors to ask questions to. I have heard that garlic is an antiviral and it's best eaten raw. I never heard of it getting rid of parasites but if it can, I would assume you have to eat a lot of it. It should not cause diarrhea and maybe you should have a little something in your stomach. Be prepared to smell like garlic for a few days though if you eat a lot. It comes out of your pores. You very right it is best eaten raw. You can't eat too much garlic start with 1 clove per day and work your way up to as much as 5-10 per day! Garlic is also very healing. You could also make the total tonic as it has garlic in it... God Bless, Jamie in Az
