Jamie, thanks for the information. i feel better.. I went to a heart forum at a hospital years ago when my cholestrol was extremely high and when i talked about having carrots and apples and needing to loose a few pounds, a couple of the dieticions smiled sweetly, raised their eyebrows and rolled their eyes and looked at each other "knowingly" and one said, "oh no, * sugar*..too much *sugar*, there are a lot of calories there. have to cut down on the sugar." I went home and got to thinking... that's about all the sugar i get is from fruit.. how can that be too much??? i wasn't even eating honey at that particular time.

Regarding the cholesterol, when i got honest with myself.. which has taken me a long time to do, i stopped eating cheese and the cholesterol went down. this has been just the last 6 months or so, mainly the last three months that i dropped the cheese. I love cheese so much that i was in total denial that that had any bearing on my cholesterol levels. . cheese was sort of like my favorite child.. could do no wrong; i was blinded by my love for it! <G> (i really don't have a favorite child, though,,,love them all the same.) i feel like the TV commercial with the man going to everyone he saw and announcing "i've lowered my cholesterol!"

love.. granny lee

I think your fine..Most people have no problem with this amount of natural sugars..It is the processed sugars and artificial sweeteners that can be a huge problem. Some conditions limit natural sugars but only in special cases.

God Bless,

Jamie in Az
