Guest guest
To anyone out there who can answer this, my boobs have been getting smaller since I quit nursing, but that will be a year ago in July. Does anyone know why this is happening and is it normal? My boobs in high school were a size C, I also weighed a bit more. I am skinnier than I have been and have been this small once before but my boobs have never been this small. Is this related to breastfeeding? Guest guest
Elizabeth, after my third child was born, my breasts shriveled to a simblance of fried eggs. it took about a year and a half for them to begin to regain and they did...regain and regain and I wish they had stopped before they did!!! mine became too large, and of course when some folks put on weight, it is mostly in the boob area. they stayed reasonable neat but now in my older years, in fact since i was 65, they are going the way of gravity and i stand the chance of reverting to either fried eggs or shoe strings..heheheheheh!!! Don't worry... be happy... don't worry ... just buy a lightly padded bra til they make up their minds. love.. granny lee.....P.S. after two more children they sort of stabilized..but on the too large side. not good for back. - ELIZABETH ELLIOTT herbal remedies Wednesday, April 21, 2004 2:54 PM Herbal Remedies - Shrinking breasts To anyone out there who can answer this, my boobs have been getting smaller since I quit nursing, but that will be a year ago in July. Guest guest
That's odd! When I quit breastfeeding my son mine shriveled away and now they've come back hopefully permanently. : ) Wonder why that happens. Thought I was the only one! Candace A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes. - leo herbal remedies Wednesday, April 21, 2004 4:51 PM Re: Herbal Remedies - Shrinking breasts Elizabeth, after my third child was born, my breasts shriveled to a simblance of fried eggs. it took about a year and a half for them to begin to regain and they did...regain and regain and I wish they had stopped before they did!!! mine became too large, and of course when some folks put on weight, it is mostly in the boob area. they stayed reasonable neat but now in my older years, in fact since i was 65, they are going the way of gravity and i stand the chance of reverting to either fried eggs or shoe strings..heheheheheh!!! Guest guest
Well when the life has been literally sucked from them.... it just takes a bit to recover. This has happened to just about everyone i know that has breast fed. All the more reason to eat organic and as healthy as possible during both the pregnancy and during breastfeeding. Imagine what both do to the rest of your body and you just dont see it as obviously as you do in your breasts! They say a pregnancy adds several years of aging to your body, this alone should be a compelling reason to eat well, but then yoiu have the new life to think of too. Guest guest
Oh boy did I age when I was pregnant. Not long before I got pregnant I got pulled over because the cop thought I was too young to drive. I went from that to looking AT LEAST my age in 9 months. But I overstressed myself the entire pregnancy working way too many hours and not sleeping enough. I didn't eat organic or vegetarian but I did eat healthy (as healthy as I knew how at the time). After I had him my diet went to pot. I was sick for MONTHS after having him and I didn't want to eat ANYTHING so I just made a quick meal out of anything...well...quick. And even though I had a baby constantly sucking water out of me I wasn't putting any back. Ay yai yai how I didn't shrivel up and blow away is beyond me. Candace Everything will turn out well in the end. If things are not well now, then it is not yet the end. - Sylvia herbal remedies Wednesday, April 21, 2004 6:26 PM Re: Herbal Remedies - Shrinking breasts Well when the life has been literally sucked from them....it just takes a bit to recover. Guest guest
well...LOL..mine came back permanently and are still much heavier than i like, but the test for sagging busts is "they are sagging if you can place a pencil under one and it stays." by the time i was 65 i could almost hold a pencil under a breast.. nowadays i could put ..hehehehe..if i chose to do so....my computer mouse under mine and it would stay. hard body no more!! you've heard the song, "Time Canges Everything" haven't you ? wellllll...sometimes it's for the best..now i don't have to worry too much about old "buddies" of my husband's chasing me around the coffee table and that's good, cause i can't move as fast as I used to!
