Guest guest
i use a lot of comfrey, both internally and externally but for specific purposes. I will use comfrey infusions once in a while for the mineral benefits, but if I have someone who has torn a ligament or muscle or bone I will have them drink 2-4 cups per day of comfrey infusion while it is healing. Comfrey is the only herb I know that can heal ligaments, maybe others have other info. I also use it externally at the same time, either poulticing or in an infused oil Bonnie Rogers- SpareRibOfAz herbal remedies Tuesday, April 20, 2004 11:58 AM Re: Herbal Remedies - Comfrey Infusions In a message dated 4/20/2004 8:42:50 AM US Mountain Standard Time, wecanreed writes: Hey! Guest guest
Bonnie, Thanks for answering! Do you use Symphytum Officinale? And does it matter at what stage you harvest the leaves? I also use a lot comfrey. Currently only externally, as I said before. Among other uses, I have tendonitis and it helps me a lot. Also, I use Devil's Claw and White Willow periodically for this problem. Thanks! :)Mandy* herbal remedies , " Bonnie Rogers " <bonnie@c...> wrote: > i use a lot of comfrey, both internally and externally but for specific purposes. Guest guest
i use symphytum officinale which I have growing in my garden. I harvest the leaves all spring and summer. When making a comfrey oil, which I absolutely love for external and for gums, I generally add a small amount of comfrey root to the mix. Guest guest
Mandy, Try taking MSM 3 times a day along with using deep tissue oil for that tendonitis.
