Why do I get the feeling everyone's "staring" at me?

LOL

Zeb

They had free krispy creme doughnuts at Bretts work today, LOL He said he had to stay out of the entire 33,000 sq ft building because everywhere he went there was a tray of doughnuts!! Poor guy!

I know everyone he works with and they all called to let me know he was sweating but had NO doughnuts

What a trying day for him... Funny thing is he never eats them but now that he is cleansing he wants one because he can't have one, LOL

I don't think I've ever had a Krispy Creme donut.

Me either, Candace. I think I've only had part of one doughnut EVER in my whole life. Unlike granny, I have never liked the smell of a doughnut shop. Whenever mom would go there and bring us kids in I would ask to wait outside. The oily, sweet fog in the shop would always make me nauseous!

This, of course, only left room for other types of vices... LOL!!!

Pregnancy cured me of McDonalds back in the 70's (and that's when

they actually used real meat). Sometimes just seeing a McDonalds

gives me that queasy-I'm-going-to-lose-it feeling LOL

Now if i could just tap into that queasy response and apply to all my

other weaknesses...I'd be home free.

My vice is still chocolate anything, choc ice cream, choc brownie,

just choc. I try to at least make a few things now and then to keep

around so i dont buy junkier versions. This way i know the

ingredients are all organic and sprouted as required. Plus everytime

i eat anything not made at home, i get sick.

Right after the cleanse, they had KK Doughnuts at hubby's work, he

ate one. He was sick to his stomach for 2 weeks following, and he is

normally a garbage gut!

The truth is it's just a ton of sugar on some white flower. It's

totally crap but it's so sweet. Hahahaha. I always get about 4-5

different symptomatic reactions and even down to my bones. Dang I

gotta get something else to " bing " on.

Bring it on woman. That is too funny. I do not eat doughnuts very

often. It's RARE. But it does happen and for th record it takes

about a week to recover and a cleanse every 6 months minimally just

to feel human.

bakery, Kelli.. not donut shop..donut shop as oily as the fried fish place <G>

"3 things that really get to me is the scent of a bakery.. a nut shop and a leather shop ..i love all those smells ..at least i can eat some nuts, and enjoy the smell of good tanned leather without gettting sick."

i have problems with any bakery goods and i do love fresh hot baked yeasty bread with butter and maybe a bit of strawbery jam, but that is a no-no, too.

love.. granny lee

I definitely stay away from the bakery things. If I start that, I know it's steep slippery slope to nowhere good! LOL! The BBQ potato chips (Kettle Chips, Organic Chipotle Chili BBQ!) are the vice that I can have some, leave 'em alone, then they call to me again, then I can leave 'em..... They're like gum on the bottom of my shoe - I can ignore it for a while, but the craving will just nag at me until I have some again! I guess it could be worse! LOL! ;)

Dang that ain't anithin' bad atol'... Darn it if we ain't got ourselves a saint. Dietary speakin'.

Well thank ya' ma'am for sharin' that with us.

That's wonderful. I'm getting there. See I'm 28 and have been sort of bingeing since I was about 9. I just stopped last year and have had several small isolated binges. (6-7) in the past year that have been not OK. But I'm always getting closer. Lived smack dab right in the middle of L.A. for about 18 years of my life. Had no idea what the difference between organic and inorganic until 3 years ago and every since have been making the transitions.

I can remember the day I decided sugar was no good. My entire crotch was red and itched like mad and I knew the only thing I had eatin' was candy the night before. Then that Christmas I had a tooth literally explode while trying to bite through a hard candy called "Sweet Tarts". The dentist couldn't see me until after New Years so I was in trouble for a while. After that I decided I needed to change whatever I was eating right away. So I did. I ran into Doc's son and that as they say was that.
