Hey ,

My son has a cavity; he isn't even two yet. What in the heck is going on? We are pretty healthy; not much sugar. Does anyone have any ideas of alternatives to fixing this without having to have him put under and have it filled?

Peace and happiness,

that, cut way back on the candy id started to let her have this past

year as well..and back to not sharing any utensils or drinks with

her cuz ive always had terrible dental problems. Im also brushing

her teeth after she does them, so that hopefully it doesnt get worst

Try colloidal silver as a mouthwash. If he can swish around for a minute or

more that would be best. It wouldn't hurt if he swallowed it.

Cavaties come from bacteria. Colloidal silver kills bacteria. Every person

that I have given some colloidal silver to, has noticed a decrease in the amount

of plaque on their teeth.

Here is an herbal mouthwash formula that I picked up from this book " Cleasing or

Surgery " :

Sanguinaria-Mint Mouthwash:

3 tablespoons dried Spearmint leaves

1 tablesppon Myrrh (pea size pieces) (optional)

1/2 ounce of Sanguinaria root (bloodroot) or about 1 rounded tablespoon of root

pieces.

Tincture with vodka, leave for two weeks, strain, add a couple cups of distilled

water, and possible some mint oil extract....and then you have your mouthwash.

I haven't used it yet, but I plan to make it soon.....

Yeah, recently my jaw has been aching and I've been having BAD headaches so I thought "oh goody, it's time for my wisdom teeth to make a nasty appearance"

I went to the dentist for xrays to make sure they weren't growing in sideways into my other roots (my teeth have always had a tendency to do that).

The dentist told me my wisdom teeth are so impacted up there they might not grow in at all. They're VERY stuck.

She said she didn't think it was my wisdom teeth causing the pain. Thought I had a jaw problem or an inner ear problem (no ear infections, though) and I should go see a doc (since when do dentists refer you to doctors?)If the doc says it's my wisdom teeth causing the pain, then I should get them out asap.

You'd think a dentist could tell me themselves if it was my teeth doing it. They are, after all, tooth specialists.

I thought it was odd she told me to get to a doctor.

When I see, "not much" of anything, it is almost always "too much" when it gets down to a reality.

No 2 year old should be getting any sugar whatsoever. Don't let him start with the bad habits.

The only alternative I know of is T & G. It can handle cavities if gotten early enough.

Also, tooth decay is a sign of an Acid / Alkaline ratio that is out whack. You are feeding him too many acid ash producing foods.

More fresh and raw veggies is in order here.

Love,

I would just ask in the child that has the cavities if there is anyone else

drinking out of the childs sippie cup or if there is any food being shared

from similar food instruments.

I am operating under the premise that the child itself is unable to produce

much bacteria that causes decay so early in life. Perhaps, it is possible

but lets see if there is anything that has promoted this fact.

If parents are smokers and if in feeding a child they offer to clean the

binky with their own fluids from their mouths then, cause may found in that

action.

If the child is mouthing something that is partial food and sleep directly

afterwards and does not use water to clear away much food particles. then

that may also be a cause.

Perhaps this may be an early indication into the calcium or strngth of the

child's teeth or a formation of the jaw line which will inhibit normal waer

of teeth due to an enclosure which captures food debris promoting decay.

Just thoughts.

Sometimes sinus problems can cause teeth to hurt like a tooth ache also.

Hi Candace, I don't know if this will help. I would never drink plain water either. My Mom used to put a little vanilla extract in the water and then I would drink it. Today, I put about a teaspoon to gallon of water for drinking. Maybe something like this would help. Blessings, Sage

Re: Herbal Remedies - Re: Cavity in toddler

My son is CONSTANTLY thirsty. I'd think this was strange if his dad wasn't the same way.

When I give him a sippy of water he throws it and cries. He won't drink plain water unless he's dieing of thirst. Been that way his whole life. When he was nursing if I tried giving him water he acted like I was poisoning him.

So I mix 3/4 water with 1/4 juice. I suppose technically that's not 4 sippies of juice since it's mostly water.

"2 juices a month!?! What does she drink?

Brock has 4 sippys of juice a DAY."

4 sippy cups of juice a Day?!?! oh my gosh... My nearly 2 year old is still nursing, but the ONLY other thing she drinks is Water.

My older kids only get a small cup of juice with lunch & dinner, and drink water all day long. The only milk any of them have is a little on their cereal/oatmeal in the morning for breakfast.

It's possible Elaine, but I never think of that as being the first place to look or even the tenth place to look.

Too often the Medicos use "genetics" as a catch-all when they fail in their symptomatic "Healing". To be honest, "Genetics" is the last place I look, as the problem is almost always to be found in diet, lifestyle, or environment. Even when I exhaust all other avenues, I still hesitate to "blame" genetics for a physical debility. It's not until I've exhausted all other possibilities do I look down that road. Such things as Autism or Downs is of course the exception to that. These two are obvious genetic disorders.

This doesn't mean that I don't take genetic realignment into consideration when helping another to accomplish a healing. This is why I recommend DMSO in many circumstances, as DMSO realigns DNA back to the original blue print. But unless it is "autism" or the obvious like, I never look there first for the "Cause".

And even autism has as it's "cause" - pollution of the genetic pool.

And some of it is just plain genetics.

early enough.

Also, tooth decay is a sign of an Acid / Alkaline ratio that is out whack. You are feeding him too many acid ash producing foods.

More fresh and raw veggies is in order here.

Elaine,

I don't mean to put you off here, but what you ask would take reams, and literally hours of my time.

Please do your own research on this. There are plenty of sites on the net where it has been shown that autism is related to toxins, and pharmaceuticals given to the mother prebirth. There are other sites where it has been shown that the condition has developed in children after birth where vaccines, and / or other pharmaceuticals have been given. Both are valid.

It only stands to reason, that if the genetic matrix can be muddied up by these things, that they can also be cleaned up using certain methods.

Ann Webb, one of our retired moderators, has an autistic child, and using a protocol I put her son on we were able to make tremendous gains for him. And she did this haphazardly on a severly limited income. I suggest you contact her or if she's reading this she may respond, or contact me off list by phone. Email would just be tooooo tedious. I just don't type that fast.

PS. This has been covered in tremendous detail in the past on list, and a search through the message archives could give you a lot of data.

I'd like to go on record saying that my husband is autistic, and so is my son.
