Guest guest
Hey I am having some major back pain. It happens every month around ovulation but this month seems a little off, however I have read that some people ovulate more than once a month or I am just ovulating a little late this month. My back is in excruciating pain. I saw the chiro yesterday who told me that it could be a disk problem ,becuase sharp movements like coughing or sneezing sometimes send sharp pppains in to my back and down my leg. I am really wanting some painkillers, but haven't taken anything of the such in quite some time. Does anyone have suggestions? I am going back to the chir o on Wed for another adjustment but this pain is almost unbearable. I can hardly move and when I do I move SOOOOOOOOOO slow. Guest guest
it does sound like you could have a smushed disk.. i am recuperating from a herniated 4-5 lombar disk and it sure can be excruciating. i had an MRI and that verified it. I did not opt for surgery, but decided to try to behave myself, take it easy, and allow it to heal if possible. it is doing pretty well as long as i don't over do lifting or twisting and use my legs to stoop enstead of bending my back and straining it. This has been and off and on thing for a number of years but it finally developed from just smushed to herniating from thinking i can do anything when i am not physically able. try to be kinder to yourself. let someone else move the piano. <G> love.. granny lee - ELIZABETH ELLIOTT Hey I am having some major back pain. Guest guest
Elizabeth- This is a medium to long term solution, but what works great for back pain is meridian stretching. I do the first exercise of this 8 exercise set in the morning and at night. I throw in the a couple more if I have time when I go to the gym. But the first exercise (governing vessel), if you start slowly and do it 2x a day for 5 minutes will show good results for you. Proper breathing is extremely important when doing these exercise. The link I posted below has a great explanation of everything you need to do. It is quite easy. I started out with my legs bent for a while but as time goes on it was easier for me to do it properly. http://www.shiatsu-yoseido.com/meridians.php Let me know if you have any questions. Guest guest
Please, everyone be careful about playing with meridians and such there are alot of common ailments that can be caused by affecting specific parts of your body. Chinese medicine is not one of those things that can be easily diagonsed or cured unless your practitioner is skilled and able to understand the concept of your learning. Modern science cannot heal most disorders as do the touching and the laying on of the hands of the meridians can. Close to acupuncture it is capable of many great and wonderful things. Although, it is also very dangerous to those who only know one aspect of a thing and continue to use in an unsafe manner. I advise you safely away from the use of such an age old understanding unles you have been directly imparted the knowledge specifically and for the use of ailments relating to your situation. If you do not have an ailment you may in error create one. Once that ball starts rolling only a skilled and experience person can prevent it from seizing further normal functions and capabilities from failing. I know this is for our site, but should I be incorrect I have given forward knowledge to my resource of this discussion via cc: attachment. Guest guest
Many have unused pills too. A variety of things can be found in there. the stomach acids are heavy on alot of things but eating on a full stomach is just another way of getting some things left. Each pill is supposed to have a stomach acidity rating on the side of the bottles some vary but it is regulated by the FDA. Once you eat a pill and ingest for use. taking it with food is the most common error most people make. Some actually work better on an empty stomach. Some have to assimilate with food so they don't make you sick. Those ones usually break down easier and you can tell if your taking them correctly. try taking them on a partially empty stomach and feel the hurt as it courses through yur body. the important thing [while the hurt is happening is to feel where in your body it is able to go]. If you have somethng like that able to show you your insides - for those of you who meditate and like to know where a thing is this is a perfect locator type for the ailment of internal organs. If you can feel it you can find it. Anyhow, Use whatever colon cleanse suits your fancy do it occassionally and do it intently. The results are yours to keep. An occasional laxative under direction may not hurt either. Attack the problem from both ends. But do not wait until the thing is ready to burst on you.
