Jaw surgery was Suzi's Recovery

MANY MANY years ago, i was in a car accident, one of the resulting

injuries was my jaw becoming completely twacked. I used chiropractic

for many years to manage the pain and mobility. One day about 7yrs

ago, it just locked up and would not release. As a result I had a

raging migraine for a month and could not eat anything that had to be

chewed. The membrane in my jaw had torn and displaced itself.

I gave in to the surgery and they were able to repair my torn

membrane and sew it back into place. It was terribly painful,

however... it was good that they did it as there was much damaged

tissue and the joint was deteriorating which they cleaned up. I have

more mobility now and it rarely pops. Before our move to NM i was

using Chiropratic therapy to keep the jaw mobile as well as the rest

of my body and to manage any pain, lately i have been just dealing

with the pain as i still have not found a new chiro here.

I waited 10 years to have the sugery though and did everything i

could to not have it; much like your ear, i explored all other

possibilities for healing before electing to have the surgery.

Just curoious about the Jaw surgery since you brought it up. Do you ever

take any of these?

- Bromelain

- 30 g proteins

- EFA's

- Flax seed oils

- Fish Body Oils

- Carnitine, Acetyl-L-carnitine or Lysine

- Arnica Montana

- Aloe Vera Juice

- Calcium

- Magnesium

- Potassium

- Creatine

Just curious.

Some of those aid in the repair, others support the functionality of the

muscle and the supporting bone. Others are specifically for the repair of

the tissue (proteins) and may aid in the prevention of future problems. I

like flax and efa's cause they balance the hemispeheres of the brain.

Coordination in eating (lets be real eating takes coordination) can use a

bit of help from not using the muscles incorrectly. Should they become

unstable the bromelain or arnica montata [i like Bromelain] can and should

support breaking down of the proteins to support the building process of the

connective tissue. Carnitine reduces the pain from soreness or irritation.

There are muscles in the mouth or along the jaw. So ATP and ADP still

follow. Carnitine supports that. Also reduces the lactic acids built up from

continual use of a muscle [fatigue]. Alot of really good stuff. there are a

few other things as well. there may be more opinions to follow so consider

it under the direction of a physician. or one of these more experienced

peeps.

Just offering potential solutions

I take many of those items in one form or another and had been taking

many for years.

IX-NAY with the Physician-NAY! No more medicos for me. I made my

last and final break as of January 1 this year and will not see

another medico (Conventional Medical practioner) ever again unless it

is because i have contracted damage that requires surgery.

I have toughed out the last 8 days with a horrendous resp. virus or

whatever and seem to be coming thru. This noramlly would have had me

in someone's office by now due to not being able to breathe!

Thanks for the advice though :o)
