Guest guest
I am looking online to find some of the ingredients for the Total Nutrition formula. I understand the 1 part this and 1 part that thing...I am curious though...on what everyone uses as a starting size to make their batches...As I was looking online...I was finding these ingredients in 4 oz measures...but when you add all of those 4 oz measures...along with the 6 oz measures...and then 20 oz x 2...that just seems like it will be a huge quantity of this formula...any other suggestions? I am going to visit my local health food store and see what I can put together for this formula...but just wondered is there any one place online that I can purchase these ingredients or do I have to go all over the place to piece it all together? Also, how long does this keep? I see it doesn't need to be refrigerated, but would that help keep it longer? I'm sorry for all of the questions...I'm fairly new to all of this...now lacking in knowledge...just always lacked the support to follow a healthy lifestyle, but now am able to do so, and want to do it right. Guest guest
For the TN i use 1 ounce as the "part" amount, and considering the number of ingredients, this makes a nice month's supply if perhaps a smidgeon more. keep it in airtight container, preferrably dark glass or good plastic in cool dry place like any other dry herb and it will keep for some time. I refrigerate mine just to keep things i use it with in one place.love.. granny lee - Caroline herbal remedies I am looking online to find some of the ingredients for the Total Nutrition formula. Guest guest
Dear Granny, I hope that is an ounce by volume, and not by weight. All of my formulae are by "volume" unless otherwise stated. So, one part could be a tablespoon, a cup, a cannister, or a pickup load ;o) It is always by volume and not by weight - unless otherwise specified.
