Guest guest
Hello, I am generally healthy, thankfully, but maybe once a year, right around this time I have sinus issues due to whatever is blooming- it starts as sore throat, a little dry coughing, then headache, (sheesh it seemed to go all over this time) this time i got fluid in my ears, (i tend to get ear infections every once in a while, particularly when pregnant, i am 31, had them from birth, never seem to get over getting them)swollen sinuses,im running a fever, now chest congestion & a little more " juicy " coughing- what i have done: sea salt/grapefruit seed extract in warm water, hung over the sink, snuffed up nose, got a little out that way, am doing daily. eucalyptus ess. oil & fresh rosemary (leaves, flowers, stems) in boiling water/steam/towel over head lots of water rested (what i can-i have 3 children) sunshine, exercise some acupressure (on myself) & ate sushi last night with quite a bit of wasabi later today when i am brave, i am going to take some straight horseradish. any other suggestions? right now, i don't have any $ for any alternative care, unfortunately. whatever we get i usually do here at home. i have a family dr. but only use in serious emergencies, and don't like going even then. we are mostly vegetarian/whole foods-fish occasionally, usually no dairy but cheat occasionally. thank you, sanQ
Guest guest
i am not sure how you are using that water, but a neti pot works great. it always helps get things moving through my nose. i too am having similar crap going on, but it isn't anything unusual for me. i have been told, one should avoid bread , which i have a hard time doing; and lose the dairy it only increases the mucous. i can;t seem to find relief. i will be doing the total body cleanse soon in hopes that will clear this stuff up. good luck. iu have had a lot of luck with a chinese medicine doctor. he prescribes herbs that alwasy work within a couple of days. Guest guest
Doing the total body cleanse completely handled all the congestion and sinus issues that I used to have on a regular basis, unless I cheated horribly afterward (dairy, esp). Guest guest
Kelli Making total tonic clears my sinuses really well. Not trying to be funny here, It really dose work for me. All I have to do is inhale and I'm clear in a few minutes, not to mention drinking it. However, I don't think anything can work as well as a cleans.
