grow it myself.. had plants that were over 25 years old and the ones i have now are babies from them. I use the leaf itself (always taking the outside larger leafs to keep the plat symetrical) and take the jell from it fresh when needed. I've never made a tincture as thought the fresh was better. is this so or should i make tinctures?

love.. granny lee

Herbal Remedies - Curiosity....Aloe

Do any of you guys/gals have your own aloe plant or do you buy aloe somewhere?

I always used to buy the "pure aloe vera" from the store but recently read that it's basically junk.

Well there goes my $1 sunburn soother! (oh boy that time of year is coming again)

Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2. If you are pregnant, consult your physician before using any natural remedy. 3. The Constitution guarantees you the right to be your own physician and toprescribe for your own health.
