I am not a doctor, but in my opinion nutritional supplements +

breastfeeding = A no-no.

I would probably just pump off and freeze as much breast milk as you

can. Maybe buy some formula. Give your body a week or so to recover.

My guess is that a 2-3 water fast would clear your system quickly

also. But with you having a young baby, this would probably not be

feasible.

The bestr advice I can think of if to:

1. Drink lots of water

2. Eat 6-8 servings fo fruit per day. Fruits are cleansing

3. Eat 4-6 servings of veggies a day, they help repair/restore

I am also a breastfeeding mother and I am going to school to be an

Herbalist. I would never reccommend a fast while nursing. I drink my

herbal teas daily (3 to 4 and more if I can) and take a vitamin

supplement. I would just make sure your doctor knows you are nursing

your child and I have taken antibiotics while nursing and it has

never been a problem.

Drink plenty of water and herbal teas (raspberry leaf tea is very

good for breastfeeding mothers and yummy sweetened with honey) and

always make sure your doctor is aware that you nurse. Good Luck>
