Guest guest
Namaste, I have had migraines all my life, as well. In fact, they are inherited. Here are the things that work for me. Water--drinking it relaxes your muscles. Stay out of bright sunlight when you feel one coming on. Ice for pain therapy. A Reiki treatment given to yourself or given to you by a practitioner will completely rid you of migraines. There is a Native American remedy that consists of red oak bark and sage that you smoke that will completely rid you of the migraines after a while. You can contact me at my personal email for their name and phone number if you wish it. It also helps with anxiety and insomnia. Avoid nuts, aged cheeses (bluecheese, cheddar, etc). Monosodium glutamates, sodium nitrates are taboo! Pizza, bacon, ham should be avoided when one is coming on. Women can usually tell at the full moon or that time you will be more likely to get one. Stress is also a major trigger for migraines. Proper breathing, stretching, yoga & meditation all help. Get enough sleep. Eat properly. Vit. B and Calcium help me as well. If you are upset or angry, find a healthy outlet, like beating a pillow to get it out of your system. Massage therapy with a relaxation synergy essential oil and a visit to the hot tub is wonderful therapy! Guest guest
When I had migraines I use to take Feverfew which is a common treatment in Europe. You can also grow it easily. It is a member of the chrysanthemum family and has bunches of profuse little white flowers. The entire plant has a very distinctive smell. It has many uses but caution should be used as it is also an antiplatelet so anyone on " blood thinners " or supplements that have antiplatelet properties. I have included a link from Wikipedia that gives some information on Feverfew. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feverfew Richard Fear is a natural reaction to moving closer to the truth. ---Pema Chödrön
