Guest guest Posted March 15, 2008 Report Share Posted March 15, 2008 Namaste, I use a cool mist vaporizer every night. An air purifier would help you as well. Do you drink a lot of milk? Milk causes mucous production, so don't drink anything but water in the evening...that might help. You may have an old mattress with dust mites. There are so many of them that our mattress become heavier the older they are with all of them and their dead bodies are really a problem for anyone's breathing problems. Try using a mattress cover after vacuuming your mattress. Change to new pillows that are hypoallergenic. Change to cotton sheets and covers...it's a more natural fiber and less people have trouble with allergies around it. You may want to have your doctor check you for sleep apnea...you may be waking up suddenly due to hold your breath and then startling awake. Good luck. Blessings! It will also help clean out any irritants or allergens. I have included a link to YouTube as to how to use and some gentle exercises to do afterwards.
