Guest guest
Yoga = Great for you Laughing = great for you Laughter Yoga? I would like to hear more about how this works. Yoga to me is all about calming the mind and holding the right poses to lenghten the muscles and manage one's chi. I can see where laughter would help to reduce stress. But would it counter calming the mind? Interesting concept for sure. Would love to hear more. , " whitleyhelen " <laugh2 wrote: > > Laughter Yoga is proven to be good for your heart health among many > other things! Guest guest
Hi, Re: Laughter Yoga, it was created by an Indian physician in 1995, Dr. Madan Kataria, and his wife Madhuri who was a yoga teacher. We offer free weekly classes in Woodstock, GA. The yoga connection is primarily in the breathing. Please see more about Laughter Yoga on my website- specifically the yoga connection, at http://www.addlaughter.com/descriptionOfLaughter.html. Also, after the laughter exercise portion of the class, we do a 10 minute meditation/visualization which calms the mind. Participants leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and happy! See www.addlaughter.com for all info. Thanks, Helen Whitley , " gmpassociates " <gmpassociates wrote: > > Yoga = Great for you > > Laughing = great for you > > > Laughter Yoga?
