Guest guest
Okay I don't have the flu yet thank god but what should I be doing to try to prevent it?
Guest guest
Boost your immune system. Eliminate ALL sugar from your diet (artificial ones too). Eat an orange or bell pepper every day. Load up on organic fruits and veggies - raw if possible. Exercise. Drink lots of pure water. Beta glucan is a good immune system booster. Guest guest
Hi there.. I use the Sanjaneevini Healing Cards. Print out the one for Immune System and put all your drinks and meals on it. It acts like a homeopathic remedy in the sense it is a healing vibration. You can find the cards for free on: http://www.bowentherapy.homestead.com All the best Diana Moore
Guest guest
Stay hydrated! Do the things the other people suggested. Whenever a bug threatens to get through my usual bluegreen shield, I take a swig of my home-grown Echinacea Tincture. It does the trick 99% of the time. Maybe it is not such a bad idea to just allow the body to catch something just once in a while. It gives the Immune System a good workout. Guest guest
I would simply try to live healthy. Eat lots of fruit and veggies (a combined total of 10 servings a day), minimize fat, get adequate protein, eat whole grains, healthy fats (Omega 3s) and ensure that you are getting enough phytochemicals and nutrients through supplementation if necessary. Get outside in the healing sunlight for 15-20 minutes a day. Get some form of exercise every day even if just walking. I also believe that meditation helps (20-30 minutes a day) to reduce stress, calm the mind, and maintain the immune system. Yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong would be an excellent form of exercise to support a strong immune system. Drink lots of water. Laugh every day. Do something for someone else every day, even it's just little. If you believe in God, pray every day. These are all good habits that have helped me! Be well , " hawk4796 " <groundhawk2 wrote: > > Okay I don't have the flu yet thank god but what should I be doing to > try to prevent it? >

Guest guest
Namaste, Take Vitamin C & E...they form a strong synergy that will help any health issue. Kyolic garlic tablets help to strengthen your immune system, as does ginseng. Drink Green Tea with antioxidants and sweeten it with honey from your local area. Hard to do, but try to stay away from sick people (hibernate : } ). Use a cool mist vaporizer. If your mucous membranes dry out in your nose and throat, germs can stick right on and get in your system. Drink healthy drinks all day. Eat fresh citrus fruits. Blessings!
