Guest guest
With a bit of stretch this could be considered a natural health topic. Riding can be a therapeutic exercise, and some people are excluded from the joy of horses because of their allergies. I am not a horse person, but a friend of mine has been breeding Curly Bashkirs in a special loving way. Curly Bashkirs are perfect for horse lovers with allergies. Bashkirs are intelligent, extremely hardy, don't need to be shoed, and don't need grains. They weigh under 1000 lbs and are about 14.2 hands high which just qualifies them to be a horse and not a large pony. Flying Hands Farm has a white cremello colt and filly available this year, to good homes only. Alder, the colt, is 3 years old this summer. His price is $3000 plus shipping (from Smithers, B.C.) Pipsissewa (Pippi) is 1 this summer and can be yours for $2000. www.flyinghandsfarm.addr.com and click 'Horses.' I am a total chicken around any animal that is larger than, well, a chicken. Magda's horses are so mellow that I have no fear around them, and that includes Goldie, the stallion. And by the way, two years ago Goldie cured his bronchitis by eating all the Lungwort around the place. Guess there is more to Pulmonaria than pretty flowers!
