Guest guest
May have found a natural solution to my asthma situation. I am supposed to use a steroid inhaler(Flovent) in the morning and evening. However, if I do this my arthritis becomes inflamed in my hands and hip. I have to discontinue the steriod inhaler and rely only on the albuteral for relief. This could have been several times a day. Last week, I pulled out the Vitamix and started making fruit smoothies for breakfast. It consists of a blend of banana, apple, cantalope, orange, pineapple, ginger, orange juice and ice. Since I began drinking this mixture, I have been symptom free and the discomfort of the steroid induced arthritis is almost gone. I'm sure that discomfort will fade completely. I suspect that the ginger or pineapple are responsible for the reduce inflamation. All fruits are fresh. It's nice to be able to breath again. Hope this helps someone else. I just read your post and I was taking the same inhalers two years ago and went cold turkey, never felt better. Also I was given cholestrol meds only to find out it will give you muscle pain, which my doctor gave me every test known to man about the muscle pain I was having, I quess he did not read the part in the medicle journal that states cholestrol meds side affect more often than not is muscle pain, go figure well I stopped taking that two years ago also:D >
