Hi Caroline,

 

I've been a member here for quite a while. I don't get to read all

the postings here but do occasionally and haven't left any comment

till now. I think i have been meant to today when your post came on

top of the most recent ones. I went to your page and left a comment

there. Pardon me for gushing but I so appreciate you for sharing. I'm

from the Philippines and we don't get much information about these

things spread around especially for those in the lower economic

segment. There is however a growing awareness but the details are

rather scant. Children diagnosed with autism among others have

increased so rapidly. I can't even start thinking about the number

from those families with financial limitations and thus are unable to

get professional evaluation. Alas, occupational therapy and special

schooling are very much a luxury too. Thus, you understand why I am

so grateful for all the information.

 

Meanwhile, diet program for kids is quite a challenge here too. Then

there are skin problems that seem to be common among them...skin

asthma and thick recurring dandruff. Is there a connection to the

condition? Any recommendations?
