Any suggestions for canker sores?

I've got two cankers in my mouth right now - not sure why...as this is

not common for me.

Does any one have any experience with cankers and what helps heal them

quickly?

Much appreciated,

Jenn

Jen,

you have them INSIDE your mouth?

Not like a regular little cold sore?

Sangre de Drago will still help them to heal,

but the root cause can be lack of B vitamins,

perhaps accompanied by stress?

Winter in Alaska can do that to a person!

Please be careful to dilute the oregano oil first. The pure good

quality oils are strong and can irritate your skin. Add a drop or two

of almond oil or olive oil to this. Tea tree oil will work too.

I say this because once I dropped some oregano oil down my heat vents

in the house and it took the paint off.

I have taken a Q-tip and dabbed some hydrogen peroxide on it and applied it to

the canker sore. Went away rather quickly.

I agree with the hydro peroxide, i've heard that works really well and

quickly! baking soda also works but i havent tried that out, but i

know thats for if the cankers are on the outside. I have no remedies

for cankers on the inside though! just be careful with them.

Okay, it hurts a little bit and I'm not sure if it's good for you but

rinsing with water and sea salt works. I hate the taste of salt water

so I put the salt directly on the sore. I also try to increase my

water intake.

hope it helps.

My hairdresser had canker sores. I recommended Sangre de Drago,

delivered some on Wednesday, this morning she called me to thank me

because it was so much better already.

I have had many canker sores in my life, and my absolute favorite

remedy is a few drops of essential Tea Tree oil mixed with a few drops

of essential cinnamon oil in a small amount of pure water. Gargle

with it a few times a day. I make it strong enough that it burns my

mouth a little, but it works better than anything else I've ever

done.

Canker sores usually come up when your system is under nourished by the proper

vitamins/minerals/probiotics. The first thing I would do is start taking a mega

multi vitamin/mineral tablet daily along with extra B and C. Add 25,000 I.U. of

Vitamin A daily for six months to help jump start your immune system again and

also add plenty of probiotics such as yogurt and kefir for a start. I've

recommended this type of diet for others suffering with canker sores with

excellent results. blessings, deb, C.N.
