Guest guest
After smoking for 25 years and 'quiting' numerous times, using the patch, hypnosis, etc.. ,I found the " secret " . The only way to effectively quit is to change the way you look at cigarettes and smoking in general. You have to remove all the ashtrays, throw away the lighters and matches, anything that reminds you has to go. Did she smoke every time she drove? Throw out the car ashtray. Did she carry her smokes in a certain pocket? Carry a large pack of gum in that pocket instead. She will also require something for her nerves for about 1 month. Stopping smoking is very difficult and the nervous energy that builds up can make or break her success. One trick I used was to figure out how much money I would save every month. Then I made a big sign that said " This month and every month for the rest of my life I will save $----- by not smoking " . Fill in the blanks. Also, taking up something like yoga where breathing is part of the training can be helpful. The longer she goes without smoking, the better she will breathe. Smoking is one of the hardest things I have ever removed from my life. She needs all the support and patience you have to give. Good Luck! , " Deborah " <gubertush wrote: > > any suggestions ? > > thanks so much - > deb >
Guest guest
My clients get wonderful results with our Homeopathic sprays. All natural, tasteless, based in purified water. (no alcohol or sugar) They will not interfere with any meds are perfectly safe/natural and FDA approved. It is fine to do up to 3 or 4 different formulas at a time. Just give 5-10 minutes in between formulas. She will know what her body needs and what sounds good to her. Simple to use, just spray in mouth when craving or before a smoke trigger, like drinking a cup of coffee. Some people look for a cig right after a meal, etc. Smoke Freee~ Modifies craving for tobacco smoke or chew, even for ones who may feel better smoking. Helps prevent nervousness, anxiety and irritability when quitting. Helps overcome the negative effects of smoking such as cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing and sensation of weight on the chest. Quiting a habit can be stressful and affect the mood, many choose this also.. Stress & Anxiety For support during high pressure or stressful situations. Mental and emotional trauma. Relief from stress, nervous tension, minor anxieties, fearfulness and oversensitivity. Has a quieting effect on the nervous system. If she is worried about gaining weight while quitting, this can be of great help. Also if she craves sugar, offer her Chromium. It helps balance blood sugar so the roller coaster of craving stops. Weight and Appetite Control Appetite suppressant; to help control empty feeling in stomach otherwise relieved by eating; helps with metabolic tendencies to gain weight; cravings. Also when having a craving it is very helpful to distract yourself, run in place, do a little craft or job that involves your hands, or get a big glass of filtered water or a cup of green tea. Just try not to have a sugar snack. Good luck to her, she will be proud of her accomplishments. If you are interested in the Homeopathics or have any other questions I can help you with, just email me off line.
