I need help to understand dream quests

Is there anyone who is knowledgable about a shaman? I do believe that

is what I am seeking out. I have been trying to focus on bettering

mylife, and locating my inner spirit. But I do not know how to do this.

In my life I was told i was part cherokee and I have had dream quests

come to me, but do not know how to proceed with them. I am seeking out

the spirit or being who can help me in this journay to keep growing and

to become cloer to the true inner person i have been hideing from , not

only myself but from the world.
