Guest guest
I can't find the one I had. My daughter has her 1 year Dr. appointment tomorrow and I'm battling with everyone (my husband, doctor, mother) with the issue of giving her the MMR vaccine. I'm even struggling with it myself, part of me wants to and part of me is scared to. I was hoping to be able to present an alternative tomorrow and the doctor told me to bring my thoughts along. If someone has an example you can send me today, I would appreciate it. Thanks! Paula

Guest guest
Personally, I would not give the MMR, expecially to such a young child. I would rather my children get sick and heal them with herbs, etc., and be immune for life. Measles is perhaps more of an issue, but I think the last outbreak was over ten years ago. Of course I am biased because my 2 children were affected negatively by vaccines. In general when I hear more conservative vaccine schedule talk, it includes doing one shot at a time, not vaccinating when the child is sick, and waiting until the child is older. I think one of the Dr. Sears pediatricians has a book out that addresses these issues. I regret getting the vaccines that were made with aborted fetuses, monkey kidneys, etc. Look at the ingredients!!!! It is on line, google vaccines and ingredients. Also I regret giving my children more than 1 vaccine at a time. A friend of mine asked her doctor to split up the MMR and do them one at a time. Her doctor never got around to finding them separatly, so she never got it for her son. I am thankful my son was sick when he was 12 months and didn't get the MMR until 18 months, because at least he was older when he got affected by the vaccines. Recently I took my daughter to a doctor who was pushing me to give my daughter a booster DTP (she is 9 yrs and is recovered from mild autism), but he acknowledged there are problems with the Pertussis part of it and recommended the DT shot (I declined it-when was the last time there was a diptheria epidemic???). Donald Trump spoke out against the vaccine schedule and said he is vaccinating his son the old-fashion way - one at a time, waiting until his son is older, etc. Sorry to be long winded, but I have two affected children and as an elementary teacher, I can see the negative impact on our children over the past 18 years. I see more asthma, allergies, learning disabilities and autistic characteristics. Vaccines aren't the only problem, but part of the problem along with GM food, pollution, etc. Carol , " Paula " <pokeracepj wrote: > > I can't find the one I had. Guest guest
Paula- Since you have such little time to join Truth about vaccines group. My suggestion is you stick with your guns and say NO!!! Your doctor is not your boss, you are ultimately the decision maker. Basically, vaccines do not build immunity, immunity builds immunity! The alternative is a healthy immune system and stay away from vaccines which break it down. Guest guest
Just say that you are still thinking about it because you are not sure it is the best course of action and that you will report to the MD as soon as possible. Tell the MD that you are still studying the ingredients that go into the vaccine. Also ask him why you need a parent informed consent about the vaccination. Ask for a copy so you can " study " it when you have more time. They don't tell you that they cannot vaccinate without it because they are liable if anything " bad " happens. That will give you some time to become more informed on the " bad choice " of vaccination lol Now, make sure you have your husband on your side, just in case. Also, get as much documentation as you possibly can. I vaccinated my son during his first year (I didn't know better) but then didn't vaccinate him at all after that and when I got a divorce my husband sued me for negligence and the judge ordered that I vaccinated him (which I didn't). But that is another story. Good luck! Dr. Maria Moratto Prescription For Bliss The Law of Attraction Alternative rx4bliss
Guest guest
Paula, Sorry, don't have book names or sites for you but there are books who talk against taking vaccinees. I know www.hacres.com discussed it in their health tips so see archives for more details there. I would do a google serach, and surely look into for another source of proactive parents. Here's a teaser I found: http://search./search?ei=utf-8 & fr=ieas- tb & p=vaccination+alternatives I'm sure you could hold your doctor off from giving your daughter her vaccination or perhaps cancel today's appointment and reschedule out. For me, I did vaccinate my kids who are grown adults now, but I would not do it again. Kids can still get into school with religious exemptoin for example. carolg carol giambri professional speaker , " Paula " <pokeracepj wrote: > > I can't find the one I had. Guest guest
Maria, Great information. Thanks. Another thought autism is linked to vaccinations plus other things of course heard. Doctors don't always do what they tell you to do for your family either. They sometimes know better and won't fall prey to what they tell others. carolg carol giambri professional speaker , " Dr. Maria Moratto " <drmoratto wrote: > > Just say that you are still thinking about it because you are not > sure it is the best course of action and that you will report to > the MD as soon as possible. > > Tell the MD that you are still studying the ingredients that go > into the vaccine. Guest guest
Here are some links that may help you make an informed decision. The second one, especially, has some great info on the vaccines, but also on your rights. http://www.homeopathyhouston.com/homeopathy_articles/vaccine_news.html http://vaccineinfo.net/ http://www.nvic.org/Diseases/mmr.htm One doc told me once that she was okay with me not vaxing my kids (as if it were her choice), for the most part, but that if I was going to do any, it should be the MMR. I told her that if I were to vax, that would most definitely be one that I would avoid. Choices are best made based on information, not on fear. Inform yourself, be confident in your decision, and consider the Law of Attraction. If you invite positive results into your life, that's what you'll get. In my family, it helps tremendously that my kids are homeschooled, but they are regularly around lots of other kids. My almost 5yo just got her 1st ear infection & pinkeye, and my almost 3yo got the pinkeye from her sister. I'm convinced that it was a result of playing at a playground next to the freeway (pollution). My point is that they rarely get sick. It also helps that they're both still nursing, but their bodies have built up immunity to the things in their environment. If we were to travel internationally, I would consider limited vax, but considering their ages, that's why we've stayed stateside thus far. When they get older, their bodies will be better able to handle it, and they'll be better able to make the decision for themselves.
Guest guest
>Kids can still get into school with religious > exemptoin for example. In TX, where I live, there's also now a conscientious exemption, so it's much broader. Only private schools still have the right to refuse admission to an unvaxed student. When my first dd was just 4 months old or so, her pediatrician (who, during our prenatal interview, had agreed to no vax or limited vax, but apparently had a change of heart), told me that if I weren't going to vax my dd, then she couldn't treat her anymore because " she wasn't willing to put her other patients at risk " . If the vaxes worked, then what would be the risk? Still, with the exception of the recent ear infection (first on in almost 5 years!), my girls have never had to see a doc due to illness of any kind. Go figure.
Guest guest
Paula, See if your dc will split the vaccine up and spread the 3 apart by few months. If her won't do it then find a doc who will. You can get the vacines at Hopewell Pharmacy in New jersey or your doc can get them. My son lost his language after this shot! There is a book by Dr. Stephanie Cave about a safer schedule. You do not have to have them tomorrow. Postpone them until you feel comfortable on what to do!!! Guest guest
I think there are homeopathic substitutes for vaccines. Also we gave our son some type of " clearing " . It involved NAET. You could do web searches for both. It is hard to tell if they work. I can say that he has not contracted any of the diseases so far though. :>)) GB , Alobar <Alobar wrote: > > I sure can't tell you what to do, but I stay away from all vaccines > http://www.whale.to/v/pasteur.html > http://www.whale.to/v/germ.htm > > Alobar > > On 1/21/08, Paula <pokeracepj wrote: > > I can't find the one I had.
