What works for one person may not work for the next. But there are some supplements and other things that may help. L-theanine can take the edge off, allowing you to feel calmer and not stress as much about the things that are worrying/scaring you. Rescue Remedy (a flower essence) is good for a temporary time if there are times when you must do something that causes you to be anxious. You also might check out various flower essences on the Internet. If you come up with the 1-3 - or a combo - that seems to fit your needs, it might help a lot to change the issue overall. There also is St. John's Wort, but it takes 4-6 weeks to really notice the effects, and you have to check for interactions with any other medication you may be taking. Lavender - fresh, dried, essential oil, hydrosol - works wonders, in my opinion. Lavender can really lift your mood, help you sleep and relieve anxiety/sadness. Yoga might be a good thing for you to start doing. Yoga helps so much; I think it helps our bodies and minds come back into balance. You are advised to make a hard copy and work your way through the material slowly and carefully.and getting These therapies into your life can take time so you are advised to say start with say 3 at a time .in many cases you are adjusting a complete lifestyle and thought process . Unless you know exactly what is causing your depression , where you can take appropriate action .This is to some extent going to seem like carpet bombing it .
