Guest guest
Jacqueline, I'm not sure if this is entirely safe or not (my medic boyfriend was horrified when I told him what I had done) but it worked for me. I had a stubborn sty that I kept breaking the blister on, but it would never heal up, just form another blister. After several weeks with eyedrops, antibiotic eye ointments, etc., I decided to try 3% hydrogen peroxide. I soaked a cotton swab with the peroxide, pulled the lid carefully away from the eyeball and dabbed a bit on the sore. I did this three times a day for a couple days, and it healed right up and has not come back. Be very careful to just touch the peroxide-filled swab to the sore itself and let it foam up. This introduces as little peroxide as possible into the eye itself. Ellen , " Jacqueline Saszi " <qualeen412 wrote: > > Hi everyone! I have a sty right now that has lasted a week.
