Guest guest
I have lemon in hot water every morning when I get up. Great for cleansing liver. I squeeze 1/2 lemon in 1 cup of water, and grate about 1/4 tsp. of rind of lemon and drink.. I also use in iced drinks for a lemonade type drink with a hint of stevia. I live in the South, and it is a refreshing drink here. DM **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
Hi all, I am new to the group and really enjoy all the information. I read the info on lemon water being a good cleansing for the liver and I'm wondering if this would be good for someone who has breast cancer which has now gone to the liver, bone and lungs. She is also on a low potassium diet which really restricts what she can eat and drink. I'm grateful for any advice and information. ty
Guest guest
Ty, The only consideration i can think of is if there is a contraindication with her meds (grapefruit is often a major problem with cancer type meds). Have her check with her pharmacist/GP/website of pharma. Otherwise, it's a good way to start the day, more by alkalizing the body than anything.
