Guest guest
my research indicates that a deficiency in minerals and amino acids can cause impotence. The minerals specifically were manganese and molybdenum and the aminos l-histidine and l-tyrosine. Impotence can be helped through: a sugarless diet herbs such as ginseng, sarsaparilla, damiana, yohimba, saw palmetto glandular concentrates such as testes, gonads and prostrate vitamins, minerals and amino acids - zinc, arginine and selenium. the herb yohimba in homeopathic form can enter the blood stream immediately. Guest guest
Impotence can also be caused by vascular disease and things like hypertension, so these should be monitored and kept within healthy levels. Yohimbe is effective but is not recommended for those with hypertension and it will just exacerbate the problem. Anything that helps with good blood flow is beneficial but caution should be taken with natural blood thinners such as garlic, ginseng, gingko, etc., especially if a person is on a prescribed blood thinner or taking an aspirin a day. There have been some accounts of people having severe life threatening hemorrhages and you will be much more prone to bleeding when sustaining a cut or you have an accident. Any blood thinning agent should be discontinued several days before any type of surgery where bleeding will occur. L-Arginine is excellent for opening up the vascular system and increasing blood flow but for problems like impotence it really needs to be taken in quantities of 2 grams or greater. It will lower blood pressure so those who have low blood pressure or on blood pressure medications you need to use caution and monitor your blood pressure. Testosterone levels that decrease with age can also be a causative factor. Low testosterone levels have been discovered to increase a host of health problems and decrease life expectancy in men. The downside to increasing testosterone levels is that it can increase the risk of prostate cancer. Aerobic exercise is definitely beneficial and can be anything from jogging, dancing, bicycling or just taking a nice long walk. Impotence can be both psychological and physical or a combination of both so determining the cause is essential for determining the course of treatment.
