Guest guest
Hello, need some help. My husband (58) had/has a mild prostate enlargement. A few years back he had minor (day surgery) operation on his hardened testicles Ever since that he has some issues with urination. It is getting worse and worse. Sometimes he urinate " normally " , some time he feels that he has to go . Fast he goes than he is waiting and waiting in the bathroom until he has some trickling thing to comes out. But his major problem -around urination_ is that when he has to go nothing and nobody can or should be between him and the WC Tonight he came home raging , because twice he did not even had the urge just wet his pants..not funny What can he do beside looking for an urologist. Thanks Vera
Guest guest
My husband had an enlarged prostate and had surgery to correct the problem, prior to that he had the same problems as your husband and would wet the bed at night without even knowing he had done it. It was extremely embarrasing for both of us. Since the surgery he has been fine! I would suggest that your husband try taking Saw Palmetto for the Prostate problem as it is well known for helping with this. Failing this then yes surgery may be the only other option. Guest guest
-- go to this website and read about this problem and what they recommend, http://rain-tree.com/nettles.htm ---------------------- Also have him sit in a very warm tub of water to encourage urination. You can also get nettles tea ( Alvita brand is a good one ) and have him drink that several times a day. love, cecile - In , VERA ROMODA <vromoda1076 wrote: > > Hello, > need some help. > > My husband (58) had/has a mild prostate enlargement. > A few years back he had minor (day surgery) operation on his hardened testicles > Ever since that he has some issues with urination. > It is getting worse and worse. > Sometimes he urinate " normally " , some time he feels that he has to go . I had very similar systoms as your husband.I would get up 3-4 times a night. I also had a high PSA of 8. My doctor sent me to a uroligist. He wanted to take prostate biopies.I talked to friends and decided that I was not ready for that. I went to a Naurpath who I called Dr. Joan. She was from Poland and I could not say her last name. Saddly she has passed on. She instructed my wife and I in the following. The reason given for this procedure is because intercourse and masturbation does not fully clean out the prostrate gland. A bowl is filled with about 1 quart water and 1 small 1ounce of castile soap.I get in kneechest position and with a enema syringe am given 2 fills and hold for 10 minutes. After I release I am given a 1 Quart filtered water rinse. This is given very slowly, 20-30 minutes. I take this laying on my back. After my 2nd enema I get back in kneechest position. My wife then inserts her well lubricated finger into my anus and massages gently my prostrate. This is done 2 times a week . I now have a 1 PSA and I do not get up in the night anymore. Although this procedure works for me I have talked to others and have yet to find anyone that has heard of this.Anyway good health to All Thejoltjockey{I am a electrician} > Hello, > need some help. Guest guest
There is a web site dedicated to prostrate massage. If you Google it you should be able to find it as I didn't keep the site link, but had stumbled across it. It doesn't involve the enemas that Jolt Jockey uses--just instructions on exactly how to do the massage, which relieves the inability to urinate, among other uses. The site said that prostrate massage use to be done by the doctors all the time, and that at that time there was very little prostrate cancer at all, due to the massages. But then doctors quit doing it, and most modern men don't want their prostrates massaged. But if it was me, and I had a choice between a prostrate massage or prostrate cancer (or even the inability to urinate!) I'd choose the massage any day.
