detox liver

Hi,

There are many different ways on how to detox the liver. Two herbs

that come to mind are milk thistle and dandelion. You can drink them

in teas or take pills. If you have a patch in your garden that is away

from pollution (roads) you can grow your own dandelion. The leaves are

wonderful in salads. The roots can be used to make dandelion coffee.

Generally speaking, detoxing the liver involves many aspects. Look at

your nutrition for example. Do you eat a lot of processed foods. Try

and get rid of them. Do you drink alcohol? Do so in moderation or

better yet, do not drink any at all at least during the detox.

The best time for a detox is in Spring. That is when the liver will

get the most benefit from a detox. You can do a detox for two weeks or

two months depending on the program. If you have never done a detox

before, do it gently. Go to your local healthfood store and ask

personnell about what type of detox they have. What is also important

is to have a mealplan while detoxing. I can tell you about that and

other ways to detox off list if you like.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,

Milk Thistle, the liquid tincture is very good for liver

support/detox. Also Lecithin helps remove fatty deposits from the

liver which aids in cleansing.
