Pneumonia

Hello:

My hubby has come down with pneumonia. It started late Saturday night.

He went to the doctor and they did bloodwork, chest xrays, etc. He's

now on an antibiotic.

Any recommendations on something to make him feel better? Like a

certain tea? He's just been resting in bed mostly but still congested

obviously.

Thanks :)

Last spring I had bronchitis that in the past

might have turned into pneumonia, but this

time I zapped it :).

But while I still had it, a tea made with

mullein leaf and liquorice root was really

comforting. I boiled the root by itself for

a while and then steeped the mullein.

Very comforting and soothing, especially with

honey. All I had was mullein leaf, no flowers,

and it worked fine.

And since you are doing anti-biotics, remember

to do a course of probiotics afterwards!

A heating pad or a hot water bottle on the chest helps.

Ginger tea with lemon and honey, dash of cayenne pepper

if you can tolerate it. Oregano Tincture is also very

good for colds, flu and pnuemonia. Lobelia tincture

and fuengreek seed tea help with congestion.

You can use fresh grated ginger or a tsp of ground

ginger.
