Maybe you are allergic to something in them. I tried Similisan drops for dry eyes. They are natural homeopathic drops and I like them quite well. They do not sting and they feel soothing. They are available at many drug stores and grocery stores. Good luck! Because one of my eyes does not close all the way at night I use a prescribed lubrication drops and ointment. I use the drops throught out the day if needed. I have puntal plugs also.... I thought in the past that someone on this group posted a recipe for homemade eyedrops. You might try doing a search through the old posts to see what comes up. Rhonda, Some supplements you can take to help with your dry eyes are Lutein, Omega 3 fish oil and Flax oil. I would recommend taking all of these on a daily basis.
